With GenialLife you can decide whether to renew your policy, by paying the proposed premium, or discontinue the coverage, without any additional cost or penalty.
Remember that health declarations are required only at the time of signing the contract, that is, only the first year: at the time of renewal, it will never be necessary to fill out questionnaires or undergo medical examinations again, even if serious health problems have occurred in the meantime.
You have the right to renew even in the case of adverse diagnoses, which do not need to be communicated to the insurer.
To exercise the right of renewal, it is important to have paid all premium installments related to the previous year by the expiry date.
In any case, we recommend paying the renewal proposal by the expiry date to avoid possible insurance gaps. In fact, if the payment is made after the expiry date, any new policy coverages will be valid from 24 hours on the day of payment. However, GenialLife will keep the expired policy guarantees valid for 15 days after the expiry date.
If the payment of the insurance premium provided for in the renewal proposal does not occur by the expiry date, we will be forced to deactivate your policy.
This is a condition we would never want to reach, and that is why GenialLife always provides an extra 15 days to proceed. If we do not receive the payment within this period, you will no longer be able to exercise the right to renewal and it will be necessary to save a new quote.
The possible signing of a new GenialLife contract instead of the renewal, unlike the latter, will involve the issuance of new health declarations and the application of a waiting period.

Remember that at renewal it is always possible to change the payment solution, switching from monthly to annual and vice versa, depending on current needs.
As stated in the Terms and Conditions, the payment of the premium can be made by bank transfer from the bank account held or jointly held by the policyholder indicated in the proposal form.
